Artist Biography
I am a native Californian who spent most of my adult life in Omaha, Nebraska. In 2003 I returned to Chico, California, where I grew up, and lived in a charming little cabin in the nearby foothills in Cohasset. I’ve now returned to Omaha, my second home. I have loved to draw since I was a small child. Always I am striving for a thing of beauty, a symbol of the awesome, transformative power of the Creative Spirit in our universe. The Aboriginal Peoples of Australia have a set of commandments, as we do, but their commandments have no “thou shalt nots.” They have only , “Thou shalts” And their first commandment (paraphrased) is, “Thou shalt be creative!” I remember the thrill I felt when I first read this, and I continue to try to share the beauty of creation all around us in my art.
